What is DOS?

School Student organisation of Slovenia (DOS) is a democratic organisation unifying all school students in the Republic of Slovenia.

DOS unifies all Slovene school students, represents their interests and caters for their implementation.

DOS works in accordance with the principals of democracy, transparency, solidarity, economy and public benefits.

DOS works for:

• 1) improvement of student's material situation.
  

• 2) carrying into effect and preserving student's rights,
  

• 3) cooperation of student's in different activities,
  

• 4) improving and strengthening the influence of student's on the curriculum, learning processes and grading methods,
  

• 5) connecting, representation in the bodies of DOS and international cooperation of all Slovene students'.
  

• 6) improving the quality of secondary school education,
  

• 7) informing and influence of student's as civilians,
  

• 8) strengthening the influence of student's on questions, regarding their material and spiritual growth,

• 9) securing school democracy, equality in secondary schools and equal rights and opportunities for all,
  

• 10) striving for laically, ideologically and religiously neutral school system.
